Longest Lucid Dream Ever

And it sucks that as soon as I wake up I forget half of it. Ridiculous.

What I remember:
Unlike most of my dreams which are in third person and I know are not real, this dream was in first person and for quite a while I thought it was real. I became aware that I was in a dream when I realized that what was troubling me (this black guy was being such a douchebag to me, and for some reason he lived on a new floor in my house. I called him a gay Theo Huxtable in the dream lol) was pretty unrealistic. The black guy and also the fact that for some reason my mom had ordered a ton of plants from nursery and the guy they sent was doing shady shit in my lawn. I started walking down my street because I think I thought I was in trouble about something (that I can't remember) and then I was like "oh yeah... dream."

I've become pretty good at flying in dreams now, only a couple times will I jump into fly position and hit the ground. In this dream when I wanted to fly I had to catch a certain wind. I could tell the wind was coming because I would look at the horizon (which was in a permanent pinkish sunset) and the clouds would start to squiggle and smear. When I saw that I would run with the wind and jump head first with arms out and soar into the sky. At first I just flew around my house, over hearing conversations going on inside, saying hello to my neighbor (who no longer lives there), doing random things.

After the initial flying around the house I thought to myself, "I need to take better advantage of this dream." I ran down my street again, waited for the wind, and flew up into the sky, destination: new york city. I accidentally flew into a flock of birds at one point but then they let me fly peacefully with them. It only took like a minute to fly to NYC from my house which I guess is pretty convenient. I landed in Greenwich Village and went down some stairs from the street level into an unusual bakery. I think I might have known a few of the customers sitting at the tables or at the counter but I didn't talk to them. This Asian girl with neck length hair worked at the bakery and she seemed a little annoyed at first, I don't know at what. I saw this one small like one-person sized caked that had vanilla frosting and was the shape of a shooting star and asked her to see it, but when she pulled it out it was in the shape of a full-sized rifle. She told me it was 3 dollars but I could only find 2 in my pocket (it seemed like I was slipping in and out of lucidity at this point). She gave me the cake anyway.

The dream skipped to the next scene (or I can't remember what happened in between) and I was at the Asian girl's apartment. For some reason her apartment was only one room and it was my parent's room at my house. At her apartment we were basically doing shit like that one episode in the Animatrix, you know, the one with the kids in the factory. We were talking about one thing or another and the middle of conversation she said the word "shazalla". I said to her "What does that even mean? That's not a word." and she smiled and nodded. This made me think about the fact that it was my own brain that had made this Asian girl that exists in my dream world say a word that doesn't exist and that I was actively questioning a creation of my mind as though it were a seperate entity. This woke me up instantly.

I feel like there was a lot more to the dream than I can remember, but that has to be the longest and most interesting lucid dream I've ever had.

Another Korea Dream

I had a dream this morning, but once again I just laid in bed until 11:30 before I got up so it's kinda hazy.
Korean Army
The dream started off in America. I was at some sort of program to sign up for studying abroad in South Korea. Things were pretty normal until this one part in the application when I had to sign up for a draft card for the South Korean army. I was not cool with this at all, but for some reason I ended up signing up.
The next part I remember I arrived at Korea but I didn't have a place to stay set up when I got there (this seems to be a recurring part of my dreams). I kinda got this apartment in Seoul, but for some reason I couldn't speak any Korean at all in the dream so I'm not sure what was going on. My apartment was just this one crappy room, no bathroom or kitchen or anything. However it did have a balcony with an amazing view of the city and mountains. I think someone was in my apartment and I was talking to them about all the mountains in Korea or something.
The next part is when I got drafted. Some army people drove up to the apartment building in a jeep and made me come with them right away. I had to leave all my stuff at the apartment and I couldn't call anyone. We arrived at some base and they gave me fatigues, a helmet, and a big ass rifle (I remember the sights for the rifle were the same as this one in my cousin's Call of Duty game for psp). The dream kinda skipped ahead and I was in a big inflatable raft with a bunch of other Korean army guys and we were coming up on the American shore. I dont' know why Korea was at war with America or why I was committing treason, but I seemed to be fine with it. We got out of the boat and stayed low as we ran to some cover in these woods near the beach.
I don't know why but for some reason I lagged behind and by the time I got into the woods my unit was gone. I was looking for them everywhere but the woods had trails on them and regular Americans were hiking on them so it was super awkward trying to hide my rifle as I walked by them. They must have noticed but no one said anything. I followed this trail up to this building in the middle of the woods that had an observatory and a planetarium inside. Of course it was packed with people and things became even more awkward. I decided the best thing to do was run away and get home.
The next scene took place at home. I was wearing jeans and that t-shirt with the mexican riding a raptor, but I still had my rifle. Chloe and my dad were there and I told them I lost my unit. They weren't being helpful at all and it was pissing me off. I was looking for a number to call in Korea but all my papers had been dumped out of my backpack and were spread all over the dining room table. I got really frustrated looking through them all so I decided to say fuck it and just pretend the whole thing never happened. I don't remember anything else after that.

half forgotten lucid dream

I had a lucid dream this morning, and a really long one. But then I woke up and went back to sleep for 5 hours without writing anything down so I forgot most of it. That sucks.

I have no idea how this dream began anymore... so I'll just give the setting and what I remember. I was on my grandma's street, which is a big hill with a cul de sac at the top. My grandma lives on Long Island, but her street was in the middle of a big city with random suburban houses scattered here and there. Most directly near the street was a bunch of dark and scary looking factories and warehouses. It was mostly day time and warm during this dream except for one part where it was randomly night.
So I was hanging out with Karina, because apparently she lived on my grandma's street. Her house looked like Nina's house and her parents, probably since I've never met her parents, were Melissa Lowinger's parents (girl who went to middle school with me.) It was sunny when Karina and I left her house but by the time we walked to the warehouse area it was night out. Everything felt out of place as things often do in my dreams, but this dream was in first person so it was a little more convincing. When I dream in third person (majority of my dreams) I know the dream isn't real but I can't really control it. I told Karina something wasn't right but she just asked me, laughing, what I meant. As we continued walking I started hopping for some reason and on the last hop I didn't come down, I just stayed floating there. This is when I definitely became certain I was dreaming. Karina said something along the lines of "see you later" and I flew off into the sky, which was now day time.
When I was flying it wasn't like my vision was just moving through the sky, as if watching a movie from a camcorder mounted on a plane. I felt it through out my whole body. I felt like I had a body high as the warm wind blew against me. I got that feeling in my stomach you get when a rollercoaster drops from the top of a hill as I dove through the clouds. The whole experience was amazing. I landed on the roof of a house across from Karina's house, and her mom and her waved to me from their front door. I felt myself in my bed and that I was starting to wake up, so I tried my hardest to hold myself in the dream but it didn't work =(. Still that was a really fun dream.

sidenote: I've also noticed that I get the dropping feeling in my stomach sometimes in real life when I'm playing a video game and the character is falling from a mountain or something. As a little kid, at night I'd lie in my bed with my eyes closed and pretend my bed was flying. As the bed flew upwards or dove downwards, dipped to the left or right, I would feel the sensation in my body. It's crazy how much your imagination can affect your senses.

Justin is the Devil, Apparently

I had a crazy dream while oversleeping today! I even made sure to write some stuff down about it before going back to sleep for another 5 hours.

I was on the first floor of this giant house with Justin, Austin, Briana, Andrew, and Sean. I think there might have been more people there, but I only remember the people who talked in the dream. The first floor didn't have any rooms, it was all one gigantic room like a huge empty square. The ceilings and walls were all white, the floor was wood, and there were huge windows with white blinds. The house seemed to be in the middle of nowhere, no other buildings or even trees around it. Just flat land and mountains off in the distance.
At first it was day time, kinda cloudy and freezing outside. We were all talking about one thing or another when Briana yells "Guys its snowing outside!" and we all ran to one of the huge windows to see. I said that we should all put on snow gear and check it out. This is when the dream got freaky. Suddenly it turned to night and it was pitch black outside. Coming down slowly in the distance from the sky was this burning red object. We all ran to the window to see what it was. As it got closer to the ground we saw that it looked like the house we were in except floating down slowly from the sky and burning red. Justin suggested we should all run out to it and check it out and I said to him "What are you crazy?!". Then Austin gives me some sass about suggesting to go out just a couple minutes ago. Typical Sassquatch. A few seconds after I told Austin to shut up the floating, burning house hit the ground and caused this gigantic explosion, like a nuclear bomb. A shockwave started coming towards our house and I looked back at Justin in horror. He smiled and the color of his eyes changed from brown to red and he had like snake pupils. He disappeared in a puff of smoke, and when I looked back out the window the sky was red and rocks were showering down from the sky. However, the house protected us and no one really seemed scared. More like impressed, it was weird. Sean suggested we close the blinds to protect us from the rocks, so he and I tried but we couldn't get them to work. Andrew told us that his brother didn't get the blinds fixed yet. Apparently Andrew had a brother and we were in his house. Then I woke up, the end.

Thanksgiving Night Dreams

Weird Futuristic College
I don't really remember much from this dream since it happened during a nap in the afternoon. The various rooms in the college were like hexagon tubes and metallic. But not shiny metallic, it kind of reminded me of the bomb shelters in Fallout 3. We had to use these weird, complex computers and I couldn't figure it out. Some girl (this Portuguese girl from my Japanese class in real life) was showing me how to use the network to interact with people and do my work and shit. The interface for the computer looked a lot like the terminals in Fallout 3, except you kind of controlled them with your mind. The homework assignment for my English class was to respond in single words to these prompts given to us (definitely influenced from that scene in Blade Runner). There was like a hundred prompts and they were floating around the screen moving in and out of focus so I decided not to do it and go outside. Outside the sky was dark and looked post-apocalyptic. I ran into the English teacher (my mom's friend in real life) and she yelled at me for skipping class so much. The end.

Return to Korea
It was a summer evening and I was walking around a dark street in Seoul with my luggage. It didn't look like Seoul at all though, it seemed more like half American suburb half old European city. I stood for a while in front of a seafood restaurant wondering why the signs were all in English. I had the impression that I had just arrived in Korea and had no where to stay. I was considering sleeping at a sauna for a couple days until I could find an apartment to stay at.
The next scene took place in an area that looked more like Seoul. I saw one of my teachers from the first time I went to Korea and she told me to go into some building. When I went in it was like a gigantic school auditorium. It was kind of dimly lit, like before they show the previews at a movie theater, and mostly empty except for a few groups of people sitting in various parts. I heard a friend I had met in Korea last time I went talking about me coming to Korea soon, so I snuck up behind him and surprised him. I don't remember what happened after that.
The last scene was still in Seoul, but again looked nothing like Seoul. I met some girl on the street (who in real life is a Korean girl from one of my classes at Rutgers) and we decided to go to the supermarket together. Our conversations were half in English, half in Korean. The supermaket looked like Giants Stadium and I was confused why there were black people working the cash registers. The end.

Back Door Tigers
This dream was pretty short. I was riding my bike home on a summer afternoon. When I went past the bushes on the side of my house I saw three tigers sitting on my porch. As soon as I saw them, they saw me and stood up. I dropped my bike and slowly backed up, but they started walking down the stairs. I ran to my neighbor's house and rang the doorbell repeatedly but no one came to the door. The tigers were running at me now so I just turned the door knob and luckily it was open. I ran in and slammed the door behind me and heard my neighbor say "Hello?" from somewhere in the house. I ran to the back of the house and saw her holding her baby and smiling. I apologized profusely for running into her house but she said it was alright. All of a sudden the door burst open and the tigers ran in, but this time they were white tigers. My neighbor opened the back door and they ran right out the house. The end.

Dream Fragment...

I was hanging out with my friend Yu, who I met in Korea (in real life), in his weird 80's style modern apartment (in the dream). All of a sudden Yu started choking on something and his face turned really red. I tried to give him the Heimlich maneuver, but it wasn't working. His eyes rolled back and he passed out, and then he turned into a red and black electric guitar. I tried to give the guitar CPR, but to no avail. I forget what happened in the rest of the dream but Yu showed up at the end as an old man. His hair was all white and his face was really wrinkly. The end.

Fragments

I had a really weird dream this morning, but I had to get to work so I didn't have time to write it down. I only remember a tiny bit of it now =(

I was in the back seat of a car with some people, I think driving to Rutgers at night. We got pulled over in one of those drunk test zone things, and for some reason the officer asked everyone to get out of the car so he could search us. Of course I had two bags of weed in my pocket, so when i got out i tried to throw them under the car. I had done a poor job and when the officer walked over to my side of the car he noticed them.
I don't know what happens after that part, but I know the cop let us go without charging us.
The only part I remember from the rest of the dream was meeting John F. Kennedy. I shook his hand and he was smiling at me intensely.

It seems like all of my dreams are weed related, and a lot of them have me almost getting or getting caught. Also this was another third person dream. I feel like when I have a third person dream I'm not really dreaming but just thinking about something. I know it's not real but I'm also not in control of it.
